課程時間: July 2 – August 10, 2012 (六週)

課程特色: 小班教學（大約12人），鼓勵學生參予、互動、增加說英語的自信。

一、可以直接住在耶魯大學學生的宿舍，可以體驗耶魯大學的生活。
二、所有耶魯大學的設施都可以使用，包括24h圖書館、健身中心和電腦教室。

Learn to speak clearly, sound more American, and increase your effectiveness in spoken communication. Study and practice accent reduction, including rhythm, intonation, the sounds of English, and vocal variety. Learn techniques for creating a professional-sounding voice, the use of formal and casual speech patterns, and dynamic communication strategies.
Thriving in U.S. Academic and Professional Environments (elective) 學術、商業情境口語培訓
This course helps prepare students to enter US academic and business environments. Students gain experience in communication skills such as win-win negotiation, interviewing, meeting and discussion leadership, as well as writing for e-mails, cover letters, and resumes.

American Film Workshop: Cinematic Reflections on Life in the United States 美國電影探討
Practice listening and comprehension while viewing films that reflect America; practice vocabulary and critical argument during post-viewing discussions.

Speak more fluently, with less foreign accent and greater self-confidence. Learn strategies to eliminate misunderstanding and the conventions of conversation in professional and informal settings. 教你自信地說出一口流利的美式英語。
Video Production Workshop 微電影製作
Practice everyday conversation and persuasion as you work in teams to develop a video project, film it, edit it, and go home with a DVD of your projects. No previous experience is required. 教你用英文拍片、剪輯、錄製自己的DVD。
Performance Speaking, Movement and Broadway Musicals 百老匯音樂劇演員培訓課程
A course favorite. Gain confidence in speaking and fluency and improve your pronunciation through rhythm, drama and music as you rehearse and perform the lyrics from popular Broadway musicals. Be prepared to move, speak, rap, clap, and sing in this class!最受歡迎的課程，讓你自信又流暢地說出英文的同時，也能體驗百老匯音樂劇演員的訓練過程。
Exploring Creative Writing: Short Prose, Experimental Fiction and Memoir 創意寫作課
Increase your vocabulary and learn the nuances of English as you practice the craft and art of fiction writing. This course is open to writers of all levels, backgrounds, and interests. Work is read aloud in a supportive workshop atmosphere that encourages the development of a personal creative style. Through visits to the courthouse, museums, Lighthouse Point Park, the mayor’s office, and the university medical complex, you practice patterns of American English usage and discovery idiomatic expressions in daily life.

TOEFL Preparation 托福課程
Develop the language and computer skills you need to take the Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) exam. Learn the types of questions in the reading, listening, speaking, and writing parts of the test, as well as test-taking strategies for each section. Practice tests, weekly homework assignments on the “400 most commonly encountered TOEFL vocabulary words,” and personal supervision will prepare you to take the test with confidence. 熟悉托福考試聽說讀寫技巧。
